Subject Matter:Mediums: Oils Acrylics Watercolour

Landscapes – wilderness – rural -or urban.

Artist’s statement:

I often look to nature for inspiration. The play of light – the time of day – the weather. All important. I hope to convey in my work a strong sense of ‘being there’.

Milestones:

Orangeville Ontario 1995 to 2008

Active in the local arts community participating in local studio tours, conducting adult lessons in various mediums, doing design work for a national commercial display company. Contributor to North Light Books “Painting with Water Soluble Oils”. Gallery representation with Studio 737 – Tweed Ontario.

Dryden Ontario 2009 to 2019

Member of the Dryden Artist\s Association and guest artist / instructor at DAA workshops

In 2019 completed an historical work for the Atikokan Museum. An accurate representation of the White Otter Castle and local legend Jimmy McQuat.  This large canvas (4×5 ft) was donated to the museum to further their promotional activities.
